How to read our lab report
Every batch goes to an outside laboratory before it is listed. The report gives two numbers that matter. Purity is how much of what is in the vial is the compound you paid for. Mass is how much material is actually in the vial. Purity is the number every supplier quotes; mass is the one many skip, and it is the one that catches underfilling. A vial labelled 10mg that measures 10mg or more was not shorted. A vial that measures 8mg is, whatever its purity says.

Where Melanotan II stands in Canada
Melanotan II is not approved by Health Canada, and Health Canada has not approved any melanotan product for tanning. It is not prescribed here, and no pharmacy stocks it. It is supplied here as laboratory material for research use only. Regulators in several countries have warned the public about unlicensed melanotan sold online for tanning. Anyone presenting it to you as a tanning product or a treatment is misrepresenting it.
Questions people ask before buying Melanotan II in Canada
Melanotan II or PT-141?
Related, but not the same. PT-141 (bremelanotide) came out of the same programme after melanotan II was dropped and differs from it by one small chemical group. It is a separate compound with its own research history. We stock both: PT-141 is here.
Is melanotan II the same as afamelanotide?
No. Afamelanotide, sometimes called melanotan I, is a different, linear peptide. It is approved in some countries as a prescription implant for one rare condition. That approval does not extend to melanotan II.
What does the published safety record say?
Reports describe flushing, nausea and darkening of existing moles and freckles in people who used unlicensed melanotan. Whether it changes melanoma risk is not settled. That record is part of why it has never been approved, and why it is sold here only as laboratory material.
How do I check the melanotan II lab report?
Purity and mass for the batch you are buying. Ask us for the current report before you order. Because melanotan II and PT-141 differ by one small group, the report should also confirm identity by measured molecular weight, not purity alone.
