Semax + Selank 40 mg is a two-component blend supplied by Red Leaf Research Labs as a lyophilized research material, holding the heptapeptides Semax and Selank in one vial. Both came from Russian research programmes and share a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro extension, but are separate compounds with separate identifiers. It is not an authorized medicine in Canada, is for laboratory research only, is not for human or veterinary use, and carries no dosing information.
Semax and Selank are held together in a single 40 mg lyophilized vial, sold to qualified laboratory purchasers in Canada. Material, lot paperwork and dispatch terms follow.
Researchers reaching this page commonly search buy Semax Selank Canada, Semax peptide Canada and Selank Canada. Those queries are logged as behaviour, not as uses the vial serves. A personal-health motive belongs with a clinician.
Red Leaf Research Labs supplies this blend as a research chemical. It is not sold for giving to people or animals, carries no dosing instruction, and nothing is claimed for either peptide.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Research format | Single vial, 40 mg across Semax and Selank, freeze-dried |
| Physical state | One dried cake holding both peptides, glass vial under closure |
| Analytical documentation | Independent report on the current lot code, resolving both peptides |
| Fulfilment | Domestic dispatch, research addresses only |
| Intended use | Laboratory research only; not for human or veterinary use |
The 40 mg is the total across both. How it is apportioned is a property of the lot, read from its documentation.
A blend has no single CAS, formula or weight; each constituent is specified below.
Two peptides in one vial, not a single molecule or a conjugate. Semax is Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro, ACTH(4-7) extended at the C-terminus. Selank is Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro, tuftsin with the same addition. Both are heptapeptides of similar mass, so a report must distinguish them.
The blend is most often confused with a single-compound vial: suppliers list Semax alone, Selank alone, or the pair under a compressed name, and a certificate for one does not describe this vial. A second confusion is with N-acetyl Semax.
The literature on both compounds is substantially Russian in origin, concentrated around the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Independent replication outside that network is thinner than the marketing suggests. Reported work includes rodent behavioural and neurochemical experiments, brain-tissue gene expression, and enzymology on enkephalin degradation.
None of that is a claim about what either peptide does. An observation in a rodent, tissue preparation or enzyme assay does not establish an effect in a person, and the blend itself is uncharacterised there.
Transit is the ordinary argument: fewer carrier handoffs, fewer temperature transitions, no customs hold with no record.
The argument peculiar to this item is that the two peptides are dried into one cake and cannot be separated afterwards. How the 40 mg divides is a question only the supplier answers, and better asked in one jurisdiction.
Both concern supply, not composition. A short route says nothing about how much of the vial is Semax.
Blend listings often give one specification for two compounds. This page differs five ways.
One cake, two analytes, and not chemically alike. Selank carries a lysine and an arginine and is strongly basic and polar; Semax is the more hydrophobic. A single gradient must retain and resolve both.
Intact masses of 813.9 and 751.9 separate the two easily. Fragment data is weaker, both sequences ending in the same Pro-Gly-Pro. Sixteen daltons above Semax fits oxidation at its methionine.
The vial was filled as one solution of both peptides, frozen, then dried under vacuum until the ice had sublimed, which is what slows hydrolysis of either backbone.
Two properties of the pair matter afterwards. The methionine heading the Semax sequence is what stability work attends to, oxidation adding sixteen daltons; the basic residues of Selank make its salt the more hygroscopic. Co-dried, the components form one cake and cannot be recovered separately, so a handling decision applies to both. Records belong to the receiving institution.
Each step is procurement or records. None supplies dosing, ratio or design guidance.
Semax is a registered prescription medicine in Russia and appears on that country’s list of vital and essential drugs. It is not approved in Canada, and that gap is the point: a registered pharmaceutical is a specified formulation with approved labelling and prescriber oversight; a research vial is not.
Neither constituent has been assessed by Health Canada, and the blend has no status anywhere. Search traffic here is heavily consumer-driven; that interest belongs with a licensed clinician.
| Check | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Purpose | Laboratory research in an organization permitted to receive it |
| Identity | Both sequences named, CAS 80714-61-0 and CAS 129954-34-3 |
| Distinctness | A co-dried pair, not Semax or Selank alone, nor N-acetyl Semax |
| Quantity | The measured split of the 40 mg, and how many vials it implies |
| Documentation | One lot report resolving and reporting both peptides |
| Verification | Whether an outside laboratory will confirm the split |
| Handling | Storage set in advance for one cake holding both peptides |

No. No dosing, reconstitution volume, concentration, route or protocol is given for this or any product.
That is a property of the lot. Take it from the lot documentation, not a product description.
They share a design pattern, a natural fragment extended with Pro-Gly-Pro, but differ in it: ACTH(4-7) against tuftsin.
It is a registered prescription medicine in Russia, not authorized in Canada, and this vial is no version of it.
No. Choice of model, controls and endpoints rests with the purchasing laboratory alone.
Research use only. Semax + Selank 40 mg is supplied strictly for laboratory research. It is not an authorized medicine in Canada, is not for human or veterinary use, and carries no dosing or protocol information. A personal-health question about either peptide belongs with a licensed clinician.
